The Practice Nurses are available to give advice on any vaccinations required for the countries you are visiting. Please note that our nurses are unable to give travel advice over the telephone.
If possible, please consult them at least 6 weeks prior to your departure to ensure that the vaccinations are effective.
We do not run a specific Travel Vaccination Clinic, please phone Reception to make an appointment with one of our trained nurses. You will need to complete a Pre-Travel Questionnaire and bring this into Reception when making an appointment. Please click the link above to print off a copy.
If you have not have not been vaccinated in the last ten years please make an appointment with a Practice Nurse.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS. Our Practice Nurses will be able to inform you of the actual cost involved. It is very likely, should you require a vaccination not covered by the NHS, that you will be asked to attend a travel clinic to obtain your vaccinations privately, see below for locations.
There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below:
Another great resource is, www.bloodcare.org.uk/, a charity you can sign up to who provide screened blood in emergencies around the world.
If you are travelling at short notice or your requirements are outside the NHS provision, we may not be able to provide an appointment, in this case please contact a Private Clinic:
